Awesome class! The instructor was knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the whole experience enjoyable. The class was informative without being boring, and I really enjoyed the entire experience. Highly recommend New Bern Firearms!

Took the 8 hour conceal carry safety course, required per NC state law. Instructor was very patient, knowledgeable, thorough, and hands on. Even helped me improve my grip. He explained the particulars of NC state law when it comes to self defense, what and what not to do. If I decide I want additional training I'll be sure to sign up for further instruction through them.

I recently took my Concealed Carry course at New Bern Firearms and had an excellent experience. The course was very informative, professional, and detailed from start to finish. The instructor was knowledgeable, experienced, and did a great job explaining not only the requirements, but the practical considerations and responsibilities that come with concealed carry.
I walked away feeling like the course was time well spent and that I had learned quite a bit. I would definitely recommend New Bern Firearms to anyone considering a Concealed Carry course or looking to expand their firearms knowledge and training.

My wife and I attended the Basic Handgun Class on 8 Feb, 24. We both have experience with firearms and were attended as a refresher to fundamentals.
We loved the course and instruction. Daren is very approachable and we watched him work with a lady who had never handled a firearm before in her life. She passed the exam and admitted she may have found a new hobby. I would recommend this course to anyone that may be apprehensive about taking a beginners type course. Just sign up and you will be pleased.
We plan to attend the follow-on training as soon as we can.

Excellent concealed carry class! Fuller was knowledgeable and made the material easy to understand, especially for us non military or law enforcement folks. I left feeling more confident, better prepared, and with a greater understanding of firearm safety, responsible firing, and learned a great deal about the concealed carry laws of NC versus open carry. I highly recommend this class.

Love taking his classes. I’ve taken my concealed class and have taken and intermediate class also. Very knowledgeable and doesn’t tell you wrong on how to carry. He knows the law and just a great all around person to learn from. He is also great with people that never have used a firearm. Very patient and gives you tips and tricks on how to grip a firearm and to shoot. Will be taking more classes in the future.
