My husband attended Daren’s class. We have both attended his Basic Pistol class and loved it. My husband’s CCW permit expired so he had to attend this course again. He said he was glad he did. As some things changed since he last took it. Top notch instruction and overall a great time. He took 5 of our friends and family and all had a great time with Darren.

Took the 8 hour conceal carry safety course, required per NC state law. Instructor was very patient, knowledgeable, thorough, and hands on. Even helped me improve my grip. He explained the particulars of NC state law when it comes to self defense, what and what not to do. If I decide I want additional training I'll be sure to sign up for further instruction through them.

I have my concealed carry license, but wanted to go through a class with my wife. I can say, this class was much better than the previous CCW class I attended. Daren does a great job with all aspects of handgun safety, state law and proper firing and accuracy. He sets an atmosphere of professionalism but makes everyone at ease! Outstanding job Daren! Great training great guy learned a lot

It was a very inclusive, my wife and I both took this course with her have no prior shooting experience. Came out with her feeling confident with both aspects of shooting and the laws pertaining to the conceal carry permit. I had a great time and as a new NC resident was quickly familiarized with local laws and left feeling more prepared. Will be taking other classes from New Bern Firearms

Outstanding educational experience. Don't take your concealed carry class from just "an instructor", take it from someone with real world experience. That is what you will find at New Bern Firearms Academy, real world practical experience !!

My wife and I attended the Basic Handgun Class on 8 Feb, 24. We both have experience with firearms and were attended as a refresher to fundamentals.
We loved the course and instruction. Daren is very approachable and we watched him work with a lady who had never handled a firearm before in her life. She passed the exam and admitted she may have found a new hobby. I would recommend this course to anyone that may be apprehensive about taking a beginners type course. Just sign up and you will be pleased.

I took the concealed carry class and would recommend Daren to anyone! He kept class engaging and was helpful with stances etc one on one on the range. Truly enjoyed the class as a whole.

Daren Fuller, the owner and instructor of the CC course is incredibly professional and the subject matter expert with his background in law enforcement. The class was well established, informative, and Daren does a great job of keeping the students engaged. He goes above and beyond by providing guidance on situation awareness, OODA loop function, and the laws /guidelines to use of force and concealment.
