New Bern Firearms Academy offers a comprehensive NC LEOSA / HR 218 firearms qualification designed for retired and eligible law enforcement officers who wish to maintain their concealed carry authority under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act. This qualification is administered in full compliance with the standards set by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission, ensuring the course meets all state and federal requirements. The session includes a focused review of safety fundamentals, legal responsibilities, and current carry considerations, followed by the Commission‑recognized live‑fire qualification course.
